If you already have Location Services enabled, you may be asked to allow Betfair to view your location, and you must agree in order to be able to wager. If you have Location Services blocked or disabled, you will need to reset your location settings to allow Betfair to detect your location using your device so we can comply with state regulations.
As a measure of troubleshooting, and to ensure the issue is resolved completely by any of these individual devices steps, please make sure you log out by using the "Logout" option online prior to leaving the site. We also recommend closing the Betfair Website or App on your device each time you are done using your Betfair account. If you do not log out and close the Website/App on your device you may encounter issues with our services. iPhone / iPad
Apple iPhones and iPads work off of an operating system called 'iOS' the instructions for turning off and on the locations services are best found on Apple's support website at the link below. It will be the same instructions on an iPad as and iPhone. In the location settings you will need to ensure that the setting is enabled for the Safari browser and the Betfair App if you are using it to access our services. Windows Desktops / Laptops

On an Android phone Betfair recommends using the Google Chrome web browser which should be installed by default on your device. If your Cellular carrier has installed a different browser we would advise you to download the chrome browser and use that when accessing our mobile services.
